AMWAJ Development, a leading Dubai-based boutique real estate developer, is advancing construction across two of its residential developments in Meydan, with The Cube Residences reaching 50% overall completion and Gate Eleven reaching 35%, marking continued progress across the developer’s growing portfolio in the district.
The progress comes as Meydan continues to evolve as part of Dubai’s wider residential growth corridor.
In August 2026, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) awarded AED 1.161 billion in contracts for the Al Meydan Street Development Project, which includes 17km of roads and 3.7km of bridges, alongside cycling infrastructure. The project is expected to serve residential and development areas with a combined population of more than 500,000 people and is targeted for completion by the end of 2028.
The RTA project is also expected to increase the capacity of north–south traffic corridors by 18%, while a specific route connecting Al Manama Street and Dubai-Al Ain Road to Umm Suqeim Street is expected to see travel times reduced from approximately 30 minutes to 10 minutes once the works are completed.
Against this backdrop, The Cube Residences has reached 50% overall construction progress and remains on track for completion in Q1 2027. Blockwork, internal plastering and painting works have each reached 95% completion, while dry-area flooring stands at 85%. External plastering has reached 70%, with wet-area flooring and wall tiling at 40% and MEP works at 45%.
The construction progress places The Cube Residences firmly into its finishing stages, with the development designed around a residential offering that combines accessibility, open space and proximity to key business and leisure destinations across Dubai.
Meanwhile, Gate Eleven has reached 35% overall completion and is scheduled for completion in Q1 2028. The project’s overall structure is now 70% complete, while blockwork has reached 15%, marking continued progress through its structural phase.
Located in Meydan, Gate Eleven forms part of an area undergoing significant infrastructure development. The wider Al Meydan Street project is designed to strengthen connectivity between key road corridors, including Al Khail Road, Latifa bint Hamdan Street, Al Marabea’ Street, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, while supporting current and future residential and development areas.
