BAY360 will bring upscale retail and dining, wellness and recreational amenities, and landscaped waterfront public spaces to Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, partly on reclaimed land from Lake D

Sweid & Sweid has appointed McLaren Construction as the main contractor for BAY360, its upcoming mixed-use development and lifestyle destination in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), scheduled for completion in Q1 2028.

Set partly on reclaimed land from Lake D, BAY360 will introduce a new community destination to JLT, bringing together an upscale retail and dining offering, wellness and recreational amenities, extensive landscaped areas, and new public spaces built around the waterfront.

Designed as a focal point for the surrounding neighbourhood, BAY360 will open up the waterfront through landscaped outdoor areas and enhanced pedestrian connections, creating a more active and accessible setting for residents and visitors. Maher Sweid, Managing Partner of Sweid & Sweid, said: “JLT has a large community, but much of the waterfront remains underused. BAY360 is our response to that opportunity, creating a destination that brings more life and activity to the lake.”

The appointment brings Sweid & Sweid and McLaren Construction together for a second time, following the completion of 6 Falak in Dubai Internet City in 2024. The fully leased Grade A office building, which also serves as Sweid & Sweid’s headquarters, subsequently achieved LEED Gold certification. 

McLaren Construction will be responsible for all site preparation, structural works, MEP, façade and interior fit-out, lifts and escalators, and all external soft landscape and hardscape to the main retail building, office building, and basement car parking.
